Loftium is a Seattle-based start-up that delivers premium rental experiences at affordable rates, leveraging home-sharing to provide discounted rent to tenants. Loftium’s mission is to provide affordable, workforce housing in America’s least affordable cities. Please read full post to be considered: We’re looking for driven and capable field contractors to assist our Property Operations. You’ll be responsible a variety of field work as our eyes and ears in the market you represent - inspecting and assessing home condition, hosting tours, and meeting prospective homeowners for Loftium in Portland. This is a contractor role so it's perfect for anyone who values flexibility - you will get to set your own hours! Depending on a variety of factors, Field Reps should expect to do 10-15 hours per month (not including travel time) during the slow winter season and 10-15+ per week during peak summer season. Responsibilities - Assess home condition for renters moving into our homes - Show homes to prospective renters - Meet homeowners to assess their properties and whether they'll be great Loftium homes - Misc tasks, such as seasonal vacant home check-ins, keypad or lockbox installation, etc Requirements -High attention to detail and quality -Highly responsive -Strong verbal and people skills -Reliable access to a vehicle -Reliable access to a camera or camera phone -Preferred: Industry knowledge of residential property management -Preferred: Familiar with long-term and short-term renting, Airbnb and the sharing economy -Preferred: Experience with Slack, photo editing and compression, file zipping, and Google Drive Bonus points if you have an eye for real estate photography or feel confident selling a home on video!
