We are accepting applications for a unique temporary positions at the Federal Courthouse in Oakland. Those selected will be paid $200 at the end of each day ($175 for your time and $25 for parking). The job involves watching a jury trial and providing opinions on the evidence. These temporary positions will begin Thursday, August 5, and are expected to last until Thursday, August 26. (Monday-Thursday, 13 days total) To qualify for this opportunity you MUST: Be a United States citizen, Have a valid California identification (e.g., drivers license), Be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (for confidentiality) Be available Monday-Thursday, from 8:00am to 2:00pm, August 5-26, Be available for a brief Zoom interview this weekend (date/time depends on your schedule), Cannot have participated in a focus group involving a lawsuit in the past 2 years. There are no specific demographic qualifications for this project. We want a wide range of education and employment backgrounds.
