We try to welcome work exchange visitors with a dedicated interest in creating a self-sustaining getaway partially off-grid experience for travelers like ourselves. Including cultural exchange, permaculture, transition, culinary garden, healthy lifestyle/cooking, self sustainability, vintage, up-cycling, food waste, community and people who are seeking experience in these areas. Or people that are strong and like to sweat while creating sustainable ways of living. If you contact us we will ask you one straightforward question: What are your skills? What experiences do you have? Any skill in what ever area. Any passion you would like to share? Maybe you can write or have a cool voice? Play instrument? etc etc Any chance speak Swedish or any foreign language? Who are you? Where will you be in five years time? We like working with people that see themselves actually doing the same things as us in the future. Still reading? Only people that enjoy nature and rural simple lifestyle should come here. If you desire clean clothing and a shower every day - this is not your place. You can think of our home project as an alternative small scale self-sustaining farm on the road to environmental improvement. Easy access from everywhere on Earth. No smokers welcome. No TV No mobile phone in your pocket. We don't want to see people staring into their mobiles. Wifi is bad, most of the time it's down. We seldom eat meat. We are ''environmentally motivated'', that means we avoid certain food and luxuries.
