Great Dane needs loving new home

it is with a very tender heart that I am starting the process of rehoming my incredible 10 mo. Great Dane pup. He is an absolute joy, incredibly silly, mellow boy. In an unexpected turn in my life, I can no longer give him the stability that he needs to thrive. It has taken me a long time of thoughtful consideration to come to this conclusion. He deserves the best life he can have. He is a bit of an anxious boy. He loves routines and stability and my reality is no longer congruent with that. He is such a wonderful boy which has made this decision heart breaking. He is amazing with other dogs, loves to play, great with kids, curious about other animals but can be a bit shy. His perfect family is one that is well rooted. That has tons of love and affection to give. One that isn’t traveling every month and can offer him a pretty regular home space. He would do excellent with another dog or pet. And somewhere with space for this big boy to stretch his limbs! He is not right for you if you haven’t owned a big dog before, if you are moving and changing often, if you don’t have time to invest in his kind heart. He is currently around 115 pounds and I anticipate he will gain another 30. He is still intact as they recommend waiting a year to a year and a half with the big boys. He has done a training program with Jane trains here in Taos. House-broken and fully vaccinated. He is still a puppy which means he gets the roomies and loves to play tug of war. I take him for two short walks a day and he mostly snoozes and lounges the rest of the time. He does fine staying home alone. He has lived a beautiful, full, deeply loving life with me thus far and I intend to keep him on that trajectory. I will be requesting lots of info about your living situation and in a perfect world, would be able to do a home visit to be sure that its the best fit!
