Drive-time radio DJ looking for volunteer female co-host

Description
Ever wanted to be on the radio? Well, now might be your chance. Hey there, I'm DJ Shadow, 28 years old, and I host a weekly drive-time radio show on Rochester Free Radio, WRFZ 106.3 FM, a volunteer-run community radio station, on Thursdays from 5-8 PM. I've been doing the show solo for over a year now and am looking for a female co-host to help me add that all-important second voice and exciting personality to the broadcast. Drive Time with DJ Shadow is basically a commercial radio show on a station without any commercials (no ads, just PSAs). I play a variety of music from any genre and decade, combined with a mix of the latest news, interesting facts, and whacky top ten lists. I also take song requests over the phone and overall try to provide upbeat, positive, encouraging programming as people are on their drive home from work every Thursday. If this sounds like something that might be a great fit for you, I'd love for you to consider reaching out. No radio experience is required, but you must be willing to commit the entirety of 5 to 8 PM on Thursday evenings to be in front of a mic at the Rochester Free Radio studios. It's an exciting opportunity, and all the other shows I've done with co-hosts across stations throughout NY have been received very well. Note though that this is a strictly volunteer opportunity because WRFZ is a non-profit station ran by people who devote their time to providing great community programming to Rochester, NY, but college students can receive college credit for their work with the station. If you're interested or would like more information, please reply to this post and mention your favorite band or song in the subject line of your e-mail. Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you soon! To learn more about Rochester Free Radio, please visit our official Website at www.rochesterfreeradio.com.
