TAMMY'S HOME CHILD CARE ABOUT MYSELF: I am a LICENSED child care provider with over 25 years of experience with children ages 0-12. I have been doing Licensed home child care in Colorado for 13 years. Being licensed I have had a background check by the state of Colorado, CPR, first aid, medication administration, and universal precautions. I have my BA in Child and Adolescent Development, certificate in Montessori teaching for ages 0-3, 48 hours of training in (EQIT) Expanding Quality Care for Infants and Toddlers, and ongoing training. I have been a lead teacher at a Montessori school (6 years), at a regular pre-school (2 years), and did before and after school care at an elementary school (3 years). I have two beautiful children of my own ages 13 years and 15 years old (both are in school all day and they take the bus so I will not have to drive them to or from school). MY PROGRAM: My home is a safe, smoke free, loving environment with a good sized back yard. I offer balanced nutritious meals, exploration, outdoor play (weather permitting), indoor free play, nature walks and walks to the park, art, cooking, science, basic math, phonics, dramatic play, reading books together, group time (some Spanish and sign language, colors, shapes, 123's, ABC's and their sounds, calendar, weather, songs, stories, music and movement, etc.). During the summer we have water play. Our group times are also shorter during the summer so we can have more time outside exploring and having fun. I also foster developmentally appropriate independence through potty training (no extra cost), teaching them to put on their own clothes, jackets, shoes, etc. I have a monthly newsletters and texting (if you want to be texted messages and pictures). Communication is key to the success of your child, my child care, and my relationship with you as a parent and your child. LOCATION: I am located in Northglenn, off 104th and Colorado in the Fox Run single family homes. Sorry, I am not able to transport children to/from school. OPENINGS: 1. Full time (full day- 4-5 days a week) age 2 years and up starting as soon as you need care. 2. Full time (full day- 4-5 days a week) age 12 months and up starting as soon as you need care. 3. Part time (full day- 2 days a week) Thursday and Friday for ages 12 months and up (MUST BE WALKING) starting as soon as you need care. 3. Part time (full day- 2 days a week) Monday and Wednesday for ages 2 years and up starting as soon as you need care. Rates do not go up once you enroll.
