Hey people, I want to play some old country tunes. Jimmy Rogers, Ernest Tubb, Carl Perkins, Sun records, Bakersfield CA kind of stuff but write original songs. I'm into some of the newer alt county acts now like nick shoulders, Colton wall, Tyler Childers, sierra Ferrell, and so on. The JD McPherson album got me wanting to make music again. I wish I could say I've been writing and have a bunch of material ready, but I do not. Willing to work together tho. I can't sing lead but I'm able to harmonize. I don't want to hang out and play classic rock cover, please let me know you have some depth to you. Elaborate a little. I'm mid 40s, play guitar. have a background in indie, garage rock kind of music. I'm getting too old to be relevant in rock music. I'm looking to play again, meet some people. I found a great group of people once before on here and formed a band for a couple years, but since then it's been incredibly difficult hooking up with anyone who didn't musically peak in highschool.
