Description
We are looking for candidates who have a Janitorial/Cleaning Management background and who have provided oversight to a staff of approx. 10 employees and can communicate effectively. We are contracted with a hardware distribution facility and in need of a staff manager.
Functions:
Oversee daily operations and approx. 10 janitorial staff team members. Must be able to cordinare staff to different areas of a 900,000 sqft building.
Coordinate employee schedules, interveiwing ensuring adequate coverage.
Oversee daily duties of picking up boxes, recycling, trash, sweeping, pallet area, plastic tote refill (daily quota has to be filled), floor cleaning, floor scrubber, daily bathroom janitorial duties, etc..
Must work and communicate well with several managers of different departments.
Remain up to date on required janitorial supplies, janitorial products, and personnel on a daily/weekly basis.
Enforce all workplace policies and procedures.
