Singer looking to start a band, or maybe just start a duo and keep it small, whatever works. I can play guitar (I just never got good enough to play in a band with it) and have experience writing songs, so I can still bring ideas to the table instrumentally as well. Pretty much only interested in doing originals. I wouldn't mind doing a cover or two for fun. Some possible influences I have in mind: The Flaming Lips, The Tallest Man On Earth, The National, Darkside, The Antlers, Mount Eerie, Japanese Breakfast, Fleet Foxes, Shakey Graves, Candy Claws, Frightened Rabbit, Mazzy Star, Laura Stevenson, Iron & Wine, Neutral Milk Hotel, Rose Windows, Slowdive, Tigers On Trains, The Walkmen...
