Position Summary / Purpose The Floor Care/Carpet Cleaning Technician is responsible for providing quality cleaning services for carpet, upholstery, tile and other services to our customers. Other services include air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. The candidate for this position should enjoy working with people, has an eye for detail, be success driven with exceptional customer service skills, well groomed and professional with a positive attitude. Must be able to do heavy lifting & bending. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate timely and profitable delivery of all services while maintaining company standards for quality and customer satisfaction. Responsible for the safe driving of Company vehicles. Surveys and discusses in detail with the customer any services to be completed. Ensures that all pre-assigned jobs are successfully completed. Completes and reviews invoices with the customer and secures payment for service. Completes all paperwork upon returning to the branch, and turns in all invoices, payments and charges to designated person. Maintain a "Team-Player" attitude at all times. Complete adherence to company policies, practices and standards. Demonstrate good organizational skills by maintaining emergency preparedness through daily cleaning and restocking of company vehicles, equipment and accessories at all times. Exhibit exceptional time management ability by being consistent, punctual, and keeping regularly scheduled appointments. Notifies designated person of any issues with the vans such as low tire pressure, oil change, etc. Additional Duties and Responsibilities Assist with Restoration Division of the company. If a responsibility or task needs to be completed, fill-in as needed depending on priority. Working Relationships and Scope May need to help with other emergency restoration services. Performance Competencies Strong analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal skills. Informal and formal oral presentation skills. Professional appearance and decorum. Basic carpentry skills a plus. Customer-oriented, outgoing and personable. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must have clean driving record. Must be willing to work a very flexible schedule as we are a 24/7 Emergency response business. IICRC Certifications a plus; or willingness and ability to obtain certifications. Ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment. Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Applicants must have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR), able to pass criminal background check. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must be punctual. Must be willing and able to respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed, as an assistant.
