Experienced tree climber, ground crew, and bucket trk operator wanted

Small veteran owned trucking business is hiring tree climbers and ground crews for our environmental services division. Work will be primarily in the Dallas metroplex area but eventually we anticipate a lot of work in the Ft Worth area as well. Work will be any day during the week, and may require some weekends (you will be asked if you want to work on the weekend). Some jobs will require climbing while other jobs may be worked with a bucket truck. Pay is based on experience. Climbers must have at least a year of climbing experience and your own tools (spikes, harness, some ropes, chainsaw if you want to use your own). The climber will also be expected to direct the crew and insure that the work is completed properly. Experienced grounds people must have at least 6 months of commercial tree experience but we are also willing to train the right people. Must have steel toed boots, we will provide hard hats and other PPE. Bucket truck operator must have a valid CDL A or B license. Operator can work as a climber or grounds person but must have experience operating a bucket truck in a commercial tree company environment. All workers that will be operating company vehicles must meet the following: No DUI or reckless driving convictions within past 5 years. No tickets (other than parking) within past 3 years. CDL operators must be at least 23 and have at least one year of CDL experience. Workers can expect long hot days, working with chainsaws, dragging tree branches or moving tree sections, and feeding a chipper or loading tree sections in a truck or trailer. Some work will be just trimming off tree branches, while other days it may be to take the tree all the way to the ground. No stump grinding will be done at this time. All personnel operating a company owned vehicle that doesn't require a CDL will still need to have an MVR check done.
