Job Title: Pick up/ Delivery and Warehouse Manager Function: To provide excellent and timely service when picking up and delivering furniture to clients. Reports to: GM Major Function: To handle all pickups and deliveries Assist all other employees Maintain a clean and organized area Tasks within functions: Handle all pickups and deliveries Arrange the day accordingly to schedule Make sure all clients are informed of their appointments Handle all furniture with extreme care. Assist all other employees Assist any other employee with day-to-day activities such as moving furniture, cleaning up, and general maintenance. Keep the shop clean and organized Clean your area at the end of every working day Make sure all paint supplies are organized and clean Keep all tools in their proper places Dispose of all garbage or wastes Inform warehouse manager of any projects that need to be refilled Required Skills: Must have a good attitude, well mannered, clean-cut, friendly, and communicate well with others. Must be able to lift 100lbs on and off the back of a truck. Must be in good health and physically fit. Must have a valid driver's license and clean record. No minimum requirement for the level of schooling. Physical and environmental requirements: Must be able to lift heavy objects Must be able to work around harsh conditions such as extreme heat or cold Must be able to work around loud noises Must not have any current health problems that would be affected by different types of fumes and chemicals Hours of operation: 8-5 M-F with one-hour lunch Disclaimer Statement: The employee reserves the right to assign other duties and or change the current duties of this job description.
