Looking for 2 full or part time farm workers. Individual applicants as well as qualified couples or effective coworkers are encouraged to apply. Year-round, up to 40 hours/week. Flexible schedule, excellent opportunity for people wanting flexibility for other temporary seasonal work. Employees expected to coordinate with each other and Farm Manager to complete farm tasks and activities. Must be self-motivated, able to take initiative, and work independently without supervision for hours at a time. Drivers license required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and understand measurements - ounces, gallons, pounds. Experience operating farm equipment a plus. Work includes: - Backpack Spraying, Weeding, Mowing, Pruning - Spray and Fertilizer application - Drip Irrigation monitoring and maintenance - Tractor operation (mow, spray, fertilizer, cultivation), some Forklift and Flatbed truck operation - Supporting Harvest operation - Standard tractor and farm equipment maintenance - Bird control - Property grounds upkeep Starting hourly rate based on experience, growth potential. Will train as needed.
