Fire season is in full effect and there is a shortage of Fire fighters for the 2021 season. Pacific Oasis has crews all across Oregon and northern California. We have available spots on crews for experienced and brand new fire fighters at each of our dispatch locations. We are offering a RT-130 refresher class on Sunday, August 1st and an intro fire fighting class from Saturday, July 31st through Tuesday, August 3rd. If you are looking for a new and exciting job with great hours or for a company who will put you on a fire RIGHT NOW look no further Pacific Oasis needs you. Pacific Oasis Forestry is looking for hardworking, physically fit, and good-natured people to join our National and Regional Wildland Firefighting Hand crews, Engine crews, and Chipper crews. Experience on Hand Crews, Engine Crews, or Chipper Crews is a plus, but No Experience is Required. Experienced or previously trained people need to pass the Pack Test and take the RT-130 Refresher Class. Our upcoming Refresher class and pack test are on Sunday, August 1st. New firefighters will need to complete a 40-hour class. Our next Intro Class is July 31st - August 3rd. If you want to take the class call 541-488-4287 and reserve your spot today.
