Angela’s Family Services has been in business for just over 13 years. We are a team that works together even though we are spread across Washington state. Everyone working with AFS matters – your opinions, your input, your skills and even your weaknesses. We have a strong team that is committed to the work they do. We ensure that the children get to see their parents in a physically and emotionally safe environment. We work closely with social workers and only with foster children contracted thru Department of Children, youth and Family Services. At AFS, our team is there to support you as you build a schedule that works for you and the families you will support. You will work independently, make your own schedule, schedule your own cases – YOU get to decide what works best for your life style and family life and work with families within your experience level. AFS is looking to add people to our team that have a strong work ethic, that are dedicated, compassionate, and live life with a ‘how can I make the world a better place’ attitude. You must have at least one (1) year experience working with children in a work setting. While parenting and watching family is a important skill work experience with children is a must per the State requirements, you will need to pass a State background check, have a fairly clean driving record, and computer skills are a plus.
