Description
I have a 3 year old male cat up to date on shots and fixed. He is bangel tabby mix. I've had him since he was 9 weeks old he was born February 2018.
His name is Garth and he's probably one of the most coolest cats I've ever come across. He is just like a dog very protective of his human. He loves to talk, ride on shoulders and he loves to walk outside on his leash. He's very trainable he knows sit, out, up,down, come and NO (working on shake).
Garth would do best in a one pet home. Or if introduced properly possibly do okay with other cats and dogs.
NOW here comes the cons and why I call him special needs!
Garth is a 11-12 pound cat who plays rough (he will bite when playing but knows ouch means stop)
Garth is very territorial with his human and gets very jealous.
Garth has separation anxiety and will become destructive if not given some sort of outlet before being left alone.
He has uretic issues and Has to HUGE emphasis on HAS to eat Wysong uretic cat food which is $15.00 a bag for a 5lb bag. If you do not feed him this food he will develop crystals in his urethra and its not a fun vet bill to deal with!
Garth is NOT a cat for someone not experienced with exotic cats. Garth is highly intelligent and must be played with and walked or else he becomes very destructive.
I'm not in any rush to rehome him and I will make sure he goes to the right home.
The only reason I am looking to rehome him is because I have become very ill and I have been unable to care for him like he requires.
Garth will come with his harness and leash, food bowl, his food and treats. Toys and his cat tower (if you want his cat tower)
Please really think about it if you are interested in him because he is a very exotic cat but also very intelligent and loving. He deserves the best and for this to be his final home.
