Please be aware that there is someone by the name of Sam Guzie breeding unethically and selling rats that have died suddenly, bitten owners and been unable to tame. She is operating under the name PPNW Rattery (not to be confused with PNW Rattery) She has been blacklisted in most rat groups and is essentially a backyard breeder. She has also tried contacting ethical breeders for their hard-worked lines which any obtained from ethical ratteries are on NO BREEDING contracts and therefore are stolen lines. She instead has "rescued" feeders and bred rehoming aggressive or sick babies. Ethical breeders have warned her against breeding without prior knowledge and lack of a mentor as well as the numerous people breeding rats currently. Beware of these backyard breeders that do not know what they are doing because this puts your health and safety at risk along with the health and safety of any existing rats you may already own. Feeder rats are bred for food NOT pets. I have attached her rattery name as well as her Facebook profile.
