Rhode Island Essay Presents The Rhode Island Essay Monthly Essay Writting Competition Starting August 2nd 2021 and continuing on the first of every month Rhode Island Essay will post an essay topic and competition rules on Instagram @rhodeislandessay and on our website rhode-island-essay.business.site Please visit our Instagram @rhodeislandessay for full details on participation. Rules: 1) Essays should be single space, Times New Roman, size 12 font, less than 500 words (body of text). 2) Essays are not an excuse to advertise business, politics, religion, or any extreme point of view. 3) Essays must be submitted within the first 3 weeks of the month, the last week of each month will be for judging. Winners are annouced and paid on the last day of each month. Saturday and Sunday are not included. 4) Prizes come from the collected admissions money. 1st place gets 40%, 2nd place gets 20%, 3rd place gets 10% and Rhode Island Essay gets 30% for hosting the event. 5) By submitting an essay you are giving Rhode Island Essay the right to use or display the submitted essay on the internet. 6) Essays violating any of these rules are not eligible for cash prizes. Admission fees will not be refunded if your essay is found in violation.
