PRIMARY PURPOSE: Performs scheduled and unscheduled repairs, and maintenance on 41 buildings, outdoor pool and clubhouse building. Where: Ewa Beach, Hawaii ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Performs various semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to the routine operation and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and general maintenance work. Operates and makes minor repairs to golf carts, tools and maintenance equipment. Maintains records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipment, buildings and grounds. Operates various tools, shop, and motorized equipment in the performance of maintenance and repair work on the buildings and grounds. Maintain and replace wood fencing, building, siding, maintain and perform minor repairs to irrigation systems. Clean grounds including parking lot, walkways, sidewalks, exterior stairways, dumpster enclosures. Exterior building maintenance including gutter cleaning, pressure washing of sidewalks, stairs, and landings. OTHER DUTIES: Notify supervisor of any unsafe, unsanitary, and suspicious activities occurring at the worksite. Notify supervisor of any harmful, or illegal substances found at the worksite. And other duties as may be assigned from time to time. WORKING CONDITION: Indoors/outdoors. Subject to hazards present in construction and maintenance functions including both inside and outside environments, in extreme hot weather, and exposure to various hazards such as chemicals, machinery, loud noise vibrations, and traffic. Frequent handling of a variety of hand tools (powered and unpowered), pool chemicals, detergents, cleaners. QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIREMENTS; High School Graduate or GED. Once year of experience in building maintenance and repair, including electrical plumbing, mechanical painting or carpentry. Must obtain CPO certification (training and exam expense provided). A good work history. No felony convictions. Drug free work environment. Pre-employment drug screening required. WORK HOURS Full Time : 40 hours per work week. Monday through Friday. Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability
