Join us for our August Hope Day to bring HOPE to those who need it most in the Avon community! EVENT DETAILS: When: Saturday, August 28th Volunteer Shift: 9:30AM-1:00PM Where: Journey Health and Fitness (1061 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011) *Partners: We could not do what we do without our amazing partners! Thank you to: Second Harvest Food BankKids' Book BankWalmartJourney ChurchWhat to expect as a volunteer: Sorting Food: Help us sort the new food we have received over the last month for our pantry. Build food bags: Shop our choice food pantry for our Hope Day guests. Parking: Help us pass out food to cars coming through our Food Pantry. Runners: Transport food from our food pantry to guests waiting to receive food in our parking spaces.SERVING ATTIRE: We will be outside for our entire serving time, therefore, please dress accordingly.
