Description
Kingdom Builders inspires women to discover their unique design through laughter, learning & love of the Father. Come discover peace & joy! At last years conference we were invited to “Claim our Inheritance” as Daughters of The King. Peace and Joy are the gifts our Father bestows. But what does being a daughter of The King look like? What is my path to holiness? The answer is as varied as the wildflowers scattered across the fields- as the saints following Christ through the ages. “Consider how the wildflowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!” Luke 12: 27-28 Intentionally Designed Have you ever meditated on the reality that Jesus has known you from all eternity, that He created you intentionally and delights in your design? Do you believe He cares enough to provide for every need? Can you surrender everything to Him and allow yourself to grow in the way the Spirit leads? Full Bloom The Saints lived lives in full bloom, no matter what the circumstances they found themselves in or weeds they had to pull. The key to their Blooming- their Holiness was a reliance on and drawing near to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. They trusted He was enough. Trusted he had designed them and provided for all they needed. There was no “toiling or spinning” in their minds, they had “considered the wildflowers” and considered themselves wildflowers. Cultivating the Garden Part of coming into full bloom is realizing that our spiritual lives are like a garden- beautiful and fragrant but requiring cultivation. The evil one loves to sow seeds of doubt and fear in our gardens. There are always external events that threaten our growth, peace and joy as well. -What kind of fears do you think Catherine of Siena had to tend to as she put pen to paper and lovingly petitioned the pope? What if Thérèse decided she was too small- the love of her little heart too insignificant? -Imagine the river of miracles that would have never sprung forth had Bernadette believed someone so simple would never be visited by our Blessed Mother! -Where would the needy people of Quebec have been if Marguerite d’Youville had submitted to the loss of 4 of her 6 children or her husbands illicit behavior, neglect and early death as signs that God had abandoned her? (Feast Oct. 16th) All of these women- indeed, all of the saints in their own ways- and All of us live in a garden that requires continual cultivation. The beauty of working in the garden is the presence of the Son warming our backs. He is always there, shining His light on the things that need pruned and weeded out. He is the attentive provider of all that is needed and good. When we “consider the wildflowers and how they grow” we learn to trust our creator and embrace our own unique design. It requires humility to see ourselves in the mirror of Jesus’s eyes and an ever-renewed dependence on the mercy of His Sacred Heart to heal our woundedness and imperfections- but when we do, we follow Him to Sainthood. Trust His design little Wildflower- and Bloom!
