Reducing stress by calming the body and mind.
This is a 75 minute yoga class, focusing on breathing techniques and yoga postures that work with the nervous system in a way that increases self-regulation. We work to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system to promote rest in the body. Which then decreases stress in both the body and mind. This class is taught through the framework of trauma informed yoga. This means that we will focus on creating a safe space for each individual to explore a mind/body connection.
