Join LaunchPad UT for our 13th annual SEAL Decision Day where teams announce their Go / No-Go decisions! Student Entrepreneur Acceleration & Launch (SEAL) is UT Austin's selective summer accelerator. SEAL picks the top startups from the 40+ entrepreneurship programs across campus and helps them confront the next market-defined Go / No-Go decision. SEAL teams are matched with industry-specific mentors and participate in discussions with experienced entrepreneurs and technical experts to get real-world insight into the most common Go / No-Go decisions. Now in its 13th year, alumni have raised over $200M in investment and generated over $500M in value. Notable alumni include Favor (acquired by HEB), M87 (acquired by XCOM), Lynx Labs (acquired by Occipital), Accordion Health (acquired by Evolent Health), Disco Learning Media (acquired by ProBility Media), Ordoro, Rabbet, Apptronik, EQO, Flo Recruit, and Elite Sweets. SEAL 2021 includes 14 teams from UT Austin, UT Dallas, and Texas A&M who are all members of the larger Blackstone LaunchPad Network, which supports entrepreneurship education and is comprised of 30+ universities from across the US and Ireland. We are so excited to be back at Capital Factory's Voltron Room for Decision Day to continue the long partnership in connecting Austin's ecosystem to UT Austin's startup community. We invite you to attend on August 5th from 1-3:30pm. This event is free and open to the public. Decision Day will be held in-person with a live stream option for participants outside of Austin and/or those who feel more comfortable participating virtually. The in-person event will be capped at 100 people with masks optional for those who are fully vaccinated per Austin and CDC guidelines.  The LaunchPad at UT Austin is a program of the School of Undergraduate Studies that helps students of all backgrounds navigate the UT entrepreneurship ecosystem.
