In this class you will be cutting and sewing your own bucket hat—today’s hottest fashion statement. Join us from 12-6pm on Saturday, August 14 to learn to make bucket hats with professional milliner Marcy Frank! This small class provide plenty of one on one instruction in our well equipped millinery workshop. Spend an afternoon with us as you learn the secrets of hat making in this fun hands-on environment. Making hats is creative and provides a wonderful way to express your personal style! In this class you will be cutting and sewing your own bucket hat—today’s hottest fashion statement. Seriously, we can’t keep them in stock so we’re offering a class where you can make your own! Previously only seen in the fishing section of sporting goods stores, this sewn fabric hat is now only limited by your imagination! The Hattery will provide a basic bucket hat pattern and a choice of several fabrics, along with everything that you will need to make your hat from start to finish. You are also free to bring 1 yard of your own fabric to make your hat really special! This class requires basic hand sewing and machine sewing skills. Pattern layout and cutting experience are a plus, but not required. Class duration 6 hours Class size: Maximum 6 students ---------------------------------------- Marcy Frank has been making hats for decades, and worked for Beach Blanket Babylon for many years.
