Local Art Fundraiser to help Black Families with Living Costs and Rent Assistance
Pasadena Black Equity Project (PBEP) is a local mutual aid network that financially assists Black families in Pasadena to cover costs of living and healthcare amidst the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to help one another and uplift those most impacted Our goal is to help one another and uplift those most impacted by both structural and personal hardships while creating an ongoing community of care and service.
On Saturday August 14, 2021 we will be auctioning off the work of local artists and selling books to raise money for Black residents in need! All proceeds will go directly towards applicants to our mutual aid fund to assist them with living, health, and educational costs. There will be a live DJ and performances by Pasadena-based artists and poets. Join us on 7/14 for a night of music, art, and community care!
