The purpose of the Anxiety & Stress Relief Support Group is to create a healing and open space for an individual. You are not alone. What is the purpose of this Group? The purpose of the Anxiety & Stress Relief Support Group is to create a healing and open space for individuals to connect on the struggles of daily stress and anxiety. Experience practices around mindfulness and meditation to come back to center with valued habits for a sense of inner-peace. How does ASG work? You Are Not Alone. Join us in this safe and yet powerful space to connect deeper within yourself as a community. Create a better understanding of Anxiety and Stress as well as learn how mindfulness and meditation can be used as tools to work with them. Come As You Are. Anxiety exists in the common six forms of Generalised anxiety disorder, Social Anxiety, Specific phobias, Panic Disorder, Obsessive compulsive disorder and Post-traumatic stress disorder. Take time with the community to deepen your connection to the self and explore a deeper sense of compassion for the days ahead. Thank You For Being You Program Precedents: - Must be willing to have fun - Must be open to listening and potentially sharing within group settings - Must be calm, courteous, and respectful to all participants and facilitators - Must be respectful of group member’s privacy regarding what is shared during each session - Must be open to trying mindfulness practices such as breathwork, meditation, and other activities that may be integrated within each session - Must be willing to complete course work requested This class is accessible to all, with the opportunity to donate to Habitual Roots Nonprofit. Habitual Roots is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to connecting communities by spreading the knowledge of emotional intelligence and mindfulness. Our goal is to create a world where everyone has the opportunity to know themselves well and improve their sense of inner peace. Donation possibilities include: eventbrite, cash, venmo (@habitualroots), or donate on our website (www.habitualroots.com). Drinks will be available for a discounted price with the particiaption and donation to THIS Habitual Roots event. These event are based on a “learning by doing” approach, focused on reflective practices and insightful methodologies. Our intent is to reconnect with ourselves and our environment. Throughout the events, a variety of concepts and practices will be brought out and collectively worked on. We aim to create a space where individuals come together to grow into themselves, their environment, and the world. Our Vision:To see a world habitually driven to be mindfully aware and emotionally intelligent.
