The event will be moderated by: Dr. Ethan Katz, Associate Professor, Department of History and the Center for Jewish Studies, UC Berkeley Distinguished Panelists Include: Batya Ungar-Sargon, Deputy Opinion Editor, NewsweekEric Ward, Executive Director , Western States CenterProfessor Jonathan Judaken , Rhodes College American Public Square is a nonpartisan nonprofit that seeks to change the tone and quality of public discourse. We organize programs that bring together non-like-minded expert panelists and audience members for fact-based conversations about controversial topics. Though these discussions may not always change minds, everyone walks away with a better understanding of the other side, a key step toward respect, compromise, and resolution.
