Experienced Painters/Manual Labor Needed - TRAVEL REQUIRED Project begins August 9. The job site is located in Texas. Transportation will be provided out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Must be available to be on-site for the entire contract. Continued employment with the company will be dependent upon job performance if interested. Job Duties Included: Surface prep (removing old paint or gelcoat, filling holes, washing) Material prep (primer, paint mixing, gelcoat combinations) Execution of paint techniques (sprayed, brushed, rolled) Job site maintenance (mask off surrounding areas, post-activity clean-up) Use of scaffolding, heavy machinery (lifts), spider baskets Equipment Care Required Skills: Experience in industrial painting Auto body experience Knowledge of gelcoat and fiberglass Familiar with using pressure washers, sandpaper, wire brushes, scrapers, abrasive blasting, putty, plaster or caulk Key Assets: Attention to detail, thorough, efficient Handle yourself in a professional manner on-site Not scared of heights Work in various weather conditions (off-season = winter) Okay traveling with 3-4 other crew members, shared hotel rooms Valid Driver’s License Company Description: We travel nationally and internationally to paint and refurbish amusement park rides, both roller coasters and water slides. Season begins in September 2021 and wraps up May 2022. Job sites can span anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks to completion – oftentimes moving to the next job site before coming home for a period of time. Employees can rotate on a job site by job site basis, if applicable. Pay Scale: $12 -$17 an hour, depending on experience Overtime, typically 10-20 hours Daily per diem Travel pay Lodging and transportation provided
