WALTHAM, MA — Waltham is hosting a Community Blood Drive Tuesday, July 27 from 1 to 6 p.m. at The Elks Lodge on School St. The blood drive is being administered by the American Red Cross and has several available appointments as of Tuesday morning, including one at 2:30 p.m. and another at 4:15 p.m. Due to a severe shortage of blood, the Red Cross is offering donors a chance to win gas for a year.
