Wholesale flooring company located in San Leandro. We are currently hiring for a Warehouse worker / Class C Driver position. This position will mainly assist in the warehouse with shipping and receiving, forklift operation, and general warehouse duties. This person will occasionally drive company provided vehicles to deliver throughout the East Bay. JOB DESCRIPTION Summary: This Position is responsible for properly preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship). Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store). While driving This is position is responsible for properly padding prepared orders on the truck using straps, following the route schedule that is prepared by the manager/office, driving safely and following all traffic rules and restrictions, delivering orders and collecting signed paperwork and or payments. Duties and Responsibilities: • Preparation of shipments, secures orders on the truck uses straps, pulls and packs will call orders when needed. • Route direction follows the route schedule that is ordered by management / office. • Drives company truck safety and follows all traffic rules and restrictions. • Collection of paperwork and payment if needed. • Communication: Constant communication with Management and office • Observes safety and security procedures by taking appropriate action beyond guidelines to report potentially all unsafe vehicle and road conditions. • Uses Company equipment and materials properly with great caution an performs vehicle checks before uses • Completes driver logs (Paper/ELD) and will always utilize Samsara. • Uses Easy Clocking phone app to clock in and clock out • Participates in all driver and warehouse safety meetings when instructed by management. • Ability to use pallet jack • Perform warehouse duties and other duties assigned by management • Full Time: Monday – Friday Start 7:30 AM Requirements • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) • Driver license and clean driving record • Current DOT physical with active medical card • Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures • Exceptional talent to interact with customers respectfully and amicably • Forklift experience a plus!
