Salem To Host Public Safety Night Of Events On The Common

SALEM, MA — Salem police, fire and other city municipal departments and organizations are hosting a Salem Public Safety Day of events on Salem Common on Aug. 3. The family-friendly event will run from 5 to 7 p.m. and include a Salem Police & Fire vs. Boys & Girls Club basketball game, police K-9 demonstration and Tour-a-Truck with Salem police, fire and department of public works apparatus. There will also be Salem fire sprinkler demonstration and free ice cream. All Salem residents are invited to attend to learn more about municipal departments during a night of fun activities.
