If Trump extremists had never stormed our capitol building on Jan 6th, there would be no need for an investigation. If trump had not incited this insurrection, there would be no need for an investigation. Democrats are not pulling the idea of this investigation out of thin air. This investigation is a DIRECT RESULT OF THE ACTIONS OF TRUMP AND HIS EXTREMISTS. Republicans are trying to play the victim here. In reality, they are victims, but they are victims of Donald Trump himself. Trump brought this investigation on himself. It appears to the majority of this nation that crimes were committed by Trump on January 6th. We, the American people deserve answers. The law enforcement officials that were assaulted on Jan 6th also deserve answers. Let's find the truth. EVERY American should want to know exactly what went on that day inside the Oval Office. Our democracy depends on finding these answers.
