Description
Looking for a family or owner to love this big boy: Kumo:
Kumo is approximately just under 3 years old and weighs about 80lbs. We adopted him in October 2019 and was listed as an adult Labrador mix. The shelter we rescued him from was not honest about his age, demeanor and size, as he grew 40lbs more than intended over the past 2 years. He has characteristics of a street dog and still needs to work on his manners. Ideally it would be great if he had a huge backyard or land to run around in, dig holes and look for rodents. He has been involved in behavior classes and knows how to sit and lay down.
Kumo is a very large loving dog, who loves human and dog attention! I have crate trained him and house trained him. Kumo deserves a family who can give him all their attention and love. Unfortunately there has been some changes within my personal life and I have to rehome Kumo.
- Gets along with dogs, but he can be very overwhelming by running full speed to the dog or jumping on dogs/people
- House-trained
- Crate-trained, but with a treat or toy
- Good around children and babies when introduced with me, but is so big will sometimes knock them down on accident
- Food motivated
- Leash-trained. If there is no other dogs around, his recall is okay, will listen most of the time.
- Up to date on vaccines
Please if you have any questions or are interested in Kumo, I would love to answer any more questions and have a small rehoming fee!
Thank you so much,
Aubrey
