We are hiring people to participate in a jury research project on Thursday August 5th at 5:30 p.m. The session will be held virtually via Zoom. Participants will listen to brief presentations of both sides in a real lawsuit. You can think of it like a jury experience from the comfort of your home or office. The only requirements are a stable internet connection with audio and visual capabilities, and an open mind. The pay is $60 for 3 hours. Virtually everyone who has participated in these projects reports them to be extremely interesting, enjoyable, and worthwhile. You need no qualifications or expertise other than the ability to listen to both sides of a dispute, give honest feedback, and make a fair decision. Qualifications: 1. You must reside in the Snohomish County area; 2. You must be able to read and write without assistance; 3. You must not have served on a jury research project in the past 24 months; 4. Be able and willing to maintain confidentiality and be willing to sign a comprehensive, legally-binding confidentiality agreement; 5. Agree to be videotaped to be viewed only by the associated parties, and not for public use. By responding to this ad, you are signifying your agreement to the above-referenced requirements.
