Come dance tango outdoors with us all summer long! The Pop Up Milonga is back! On the 4th Tuesdays this summer and fall, we will be outdoors on the lovely deck at The Congregation. The Congregation, built in 1924 as a church, is now a coffee shop, bar and community space. They serve food and have a beautiful deck for dancing and ample outdoor space for socializing! We'll have a portable dance floor on the deck, and our DJs will play a mix of traditional and contemporary tango. Dancing from 6-8:30. Come, support the establishment by buying drinks and food, and get lost in great music and in the arms of old friends! There is a 25 person capacity on the deck, so this is a ticketed event! If you arrive after capacity has been reached without an RSVP, there is a big lawn and picnic tables for you to enjoy the music, food, and drinks. : ) Alex has been teaching Argentine Tango in Detroit for over three years.  She has been dancing tango for ten years, trained in Argentina and later NYC before moving to Detroit.  Her goal is to use dance as a tool for community building and positive social change, teaching both the dance and an appreciation for Argentine Culture.  She also teachs with Randy Fisher, both working to grow tango in Detroit.  Join us...let's have some fun and let's dance!
