Join the Downtown Detroit Business Improvement Zone for the next BIZ Connect on Wednesday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m. The Downtown Detroit Business Improvement Zone is inviting you to join us for another in-person BIZ Connect on Wednesday, August 4 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at The Monarch Club! You will have a chance to meet members of Downtown Detroit's safety professionals, including members of the Detroit Police Department and your Neighborhood Police Officer. We hope to see you there! SAVE THE DATE FOR THE FINAL 2021 BIZ CONNECT Thursday, December 9The Downtown Detroit Business Improvement Zone (BIZ) creates a clean, safe, and vibrant Downtown through services provided to property owners, businesses, residents and employees. The BIZ works in collaboration with the Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP) and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The team is dedicated to enhancing the overall appeal of the Downtown Detroit Central Business District. BIZ services include hospitality, cleaning, a robust lighting program, safety, parks maintenance, urban planning and business outreach and engagement that benefits Downtown patrons, visitors and stakeholders. The financial contributions of Downtown property owners through a special assessment allows the BIZ to serve the Downtown community. The team also provides access to resources, events, and timely information regarding all things happening in the Downtown in relation to local businesses.
