RENTON, WA — Renton firefighters were on scene at the Federal Reserve Bank Monday afternoon, working to rescue a window washer who got stuck several stories up. According to the Renton Regional Fire Authority, units arrived at the bank on Naches Avenue Southwest shortly before 1:30 p.m. and worked to set up a rope system to reach the washer. A photo posted on social media showed a ladder truck on the scene to provide assistance.
Within a few minutes, firefighters said they successfully reached the person, got them onto the rope system, and were in the process of bringing them down to safety. Crews reported the person was back on the ground by 1:45 p.m.
