The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing varied assignments which include appliance installation, repairs, painting, landscaping upkeep, and general maintenance for one multi-family property located in Miami, FL. Job Description: • Complete and close maintenance requests submitted electronically by residents. • Fulfill daily work orders, unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, and any other duties assigned by Property Manager. • Ensure waste bins are accommodated for pick-up. • Physical ability to paint exterior and interior walls, clean windows, use a leaf blower to clear breezeways, parking areas, and property exterior. Must be able to lift 40-70 lbs. • Change light bulbs. • Follow the dress code established by management. • Use proper protective equipment when necessary and follow safety procedures. Qualifications: • Two years of experience in resident maintenance. • Knowledge in the areas of caulking and light drywall repairs, plumbing, appliance repairs and installation, electrical, HVAC, and other general residential repairs. • Strong work ethic and customer relation skills in order to effectively interact with residents, vendors, and team members. • Self-sufficient, positive, responsible, and professional demeanor in executing duties and responsibilities. Must have attention to detail. • Required to have a vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance. • Must be available for emergency on-call circumstances. Work Location: One multi-family property in Miami, FL. Job Type: Full-time. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. (8-hour shift) Salary: Depends on skills and qualifications. Bi-weekly pay.
