NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck police are asking for the public's help in finding a reckless motorcycle operator who sped away from an officer who tried to pull him over on July 19. The incident occurred at about 8:20 p.m. when the motorcyclist was spotted riding recklessly on Meadow Street. As he sped off, the rider was last seen traveling westbound on Rubber Avenue Extension. Police described the operator as male, white, and approximately 20 years old. He was wearing a blue coat with dark blue sleeves, jeans and black helmet, and the motorcycle he was riding is believed to be a smaller size sport-style bike.
