HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — Think you can make a really great gazpacho? Enter the annual Highland Park's farmers' market gazpacho contest this Friday, July 30! In celebration of New Jersey tomato season, amateur chefs are invited to the Highland Park Farmers Market to bring their best gazpacho. The contest is free to enter, and free to watch. The contest will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Highland Park Farmers Market (212 Raritan Ave) this Friday. Entries must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. at the market pavilion. The winning gazpacho chef will be a tote filled with one item from each vendor at the market that day, from wine to tomatoes to flowers. Ribbons will also be given out for placing.
