We are looking to hire a highly skilled maintenance technician to service a 38 unit apartment complex.
This position is part time and we are willing to work with your schedule but would like to hire someone that has the flexibility to handle emergency maintenance after hours and on weekends as needed.
As the maintenance technician you will work independently under the supervision of the on-site property manager and regional manager. Although the main focus of the position will be to service the current residents, you will need to perform unit turns.
Qualifications:
• The selected candidate should be a self-starter, well organized and have excellent customer service skills;
• Minimum of 5 years of general maintenance experience;
• Knowledge of plumbing, painting, electrical and light carpentry;
• HVAC certified is a plus;
• Must have own tools;
• Clean DMV and Background, reliable transportation, current driver's license, registration and auto insurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Apartment Turns
- General plumbing repairs, ie., changing out faucets, garbage disposals, toilets, repair drain lines, etc;
- Electrical repairs, to include knowledge in changing light fixtures, installing GFI's, etc;
- Painting, to include drywall repair, patching and priming;
- General rent ready repairs as needed;
- Trouble shooting HVAC and Heating issues;
- Appliance repairs.
