HOBOKEN, NJ — Four candidates will vie for three seats in the next Hoboken Board of Education election on Nov. 2.
The three incumbents — Malani Cademartori, Thomas Kluepfel, and Ailene McGuirk — are running for re-election, and face a challenge from Patricia Waiters, who has run for the board before.
The deadline to file to run was Monday.
Hoboken voters will be able to vote for the board candidates at the same time as they vote for a mayor and three council-at-large candidates in November, as well as assembly and state senate.
There are nine seats on the Hoboken Board of Education. They are unpaid, three-year terms.
