Small dog needs an older person to love

I need to re-home my dog. She is 10 yrs old and my toddler likes to terrorize her and she can't take it any more. I am also pregnant so will have no time for her. She would do best in a home where she can sit on an old person's lap all day. She does love to play and take walks, so a family with older kids would be fine too. She doesn't like cats, but would be ok with another small dog. I am going to be very particular with who I re home her to because she is my baby. Please only reply if serious. Thank you
