Press release from the City of Eden Prairie: 07/26/2021 9:00 a.m. Attend Eden Prairie's annual PeopleFest! series July 30–Aug. 14. Join in any of the events, which are designed to bring the community together and celebrate the many cultures that make Eden Prairie great. Most are free, but some require registration. Pick up a guidebook for this year's celebration at any PeopleFest! event or at the Community Center. A full schedule of events is also available at edenprairie.org/PeopleFest. The kickoff event features the Native Pride Dancers at Staring Lake Amphitheatre Friday, July 30. The evening begins with the reading of Eden Prairie's Land Acknowledgment Statement, followed by a celebration of the spirit and beauty of Indigenous peoples.
