Description

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A person from Bolingbrook is among three winners to chosen Monday to receive $100,000 as part of the state's "All In for the Win" vaccine lottery. The Bolingbrook resident was joined by someone from Champaign County and someone else from Vernon Hills, each winning $100,000. The Illinois Department of Public Health said Illinoisans from these areas should check their phones and emails to see if they won. Correspondence will come from 312-814-3524 and or [email protected]. From there, winners have seven days to accept the prize. Monday's drawing was the third of nine vaccine lottery drawings. Illinoisans who have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine are automatically entered in the lottery. Once entered, residents remain eligible in future drawings, unless they've won. The campaign promotes vaccinations across the state through multiple drawings from a $7 million cash pool ranging from $100,000 to $1 million, and $3 million is also available in scholarship awards for vaccinated youth. A schedule of the drawings can be found on the vaccine lottery's website. (For more news and information like this, subscribe to the Bolingbrook Patch for free.
