Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/26/2021 212061093 Preliminary Information: On 7/25/21, around 3:03 pm, officers responded I-75/85 NB and I-20 EB Expressway in reference to a person down. Upon arrival, Atlanta Fire Rescue and Grady EMS were already on scene rendering aid to a male in medical distress. Preliminary investigation indicates the male was in his vehicle on the side of the roadway when he appeared to be suffering medical distress. Several witnesses pulled over to assist the male while waiting for police and medical services to arrive. Grady EMS was able to transport the male to the hospital for treatment.  Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.   This press release was produced by the Atlanta Police Department.
