Landscaper/Grounds Crew - 1 location - no traveling (Alleghenies, PA) compensation: $14.07 per hour + holiday pay employment type: full-time Landscaper/Grounds Crew-no traveling around-one location-holiday pay-7 to 3:30!!! IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Landscape Laborer for Grounds Crew at the Alleghenies National Cemetery Tasks include day to day grounds maintenance and operations including but not limited to: Mowing, trimming, edging, leaf removal using a variety of mowers, power tools, and hand tools Tree trimming and removal using chain saws, pole saws and loppers Removal of overgrown shrubs using chain saws Hand pruning of weeds Installation of mulch in courtyard Clean up of grounds daily to remove all trash, debris and fallen limbs Requirements: Must be a hustler, positive attitude, self motivated and willing to work. Must maintain a clean cut, well groomed appearance. Must remember the place you are caring for and be sensitive and respectable to the veterans and family members. Must have strong skills with taking and reading measurements, using tape measure. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and physically capable of performing outdoor work in various weather conditions to include cold weather, rain, snow and extreme heat. Must be able to stay on feet and walk for long periods at a time. Must be able to follow all OSHA and other safety policies. Must posses valid identification and have reliable transportation. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Landscape / grounds / tree removal experience preferred, but not required.
