Hello,
We are a Scuba diving store in Kearny Mesa called Ocean Enterprises. We currently have some positions open for both part time and full time work. Our store ours are 9:45-7:15 daily. We are looking for hard workers in our Sales and/or Rental department.
While our Sales Associate position requires a dive certification our Rental and Gear washer positions do not.

About the Role:
Sales Associates greet customers on arrival then assist the customer with any questions they have about the purchase they want to make. They often help the customer with returns, refunds, and resolve common complaints. This position will report directly to the Retail Store Manager.
Full and part time positions available.
Sales Associate Responsibilities
Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
Achieving established daily and monthly goals.
Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
Increasing in store sales.
Superior product knowledge.
Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
SCUBA Instruction and Class Schedule
Clearly understand all the different types of certifications offered
Clearly understand different class schedules and what is required for each class.
Assist in rental when needed.
Additional Requirements:
1+ years working in retail industry
Open Water or beyond diving certification preferred but not required
High school diploma
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Outgoing personality with a strong desire to provide great client service
The ideal candidate is an active SCUBA diver and enjoys water sports and adventure!
