Tree Pros is now hiring a Professional Climber to join our growing team. This position will involve professional pruning and general maintenance of trees and shrubs on commercial and residential properties. Essential Job Functions: Performs all required ground, climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by crew leader. Must provide fanatical attention to detail, consistency, and value to perform essential arbor care tasks, primarily the pruning and removals of hardwoods and palms. Must be able to work year-round in the Arizona climate. Demonstrates high safety procedures following ANSI standards, sound tree risk assessment skills, equipment inspection skills, proper application of approved knots, proper climbing techniques and procedures, proper pruning and small removal skills, and proper rigging skills Learns, understands, and adheres to all safety rules and company safety policies in order to be safely productive. Be able to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and supervisor Maintain a positive and professional image of Tree Pros. Operates with confidence and humility in order to meet all company specified goals. Accurately tracks time at each job site. Willingness to go above and beyond to meet client’s expectations and provide them a “WOW” experience. Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor Requirements Two years of experience in climbing, trimming and removing trees (Not Just Palms) ISA Certified Arborist or Tree Worker a plus Additional Requirements: Proper Chain Saw Operation (Climber saws to Large Removal saws) Proper Chipper Use Knowledge in tree safety Ability to read and comprehend and communicate effectively service and technical information.
