We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, individual to join our engineering/maintenance department. Responsibilities include: ❇Provides friendly and hospitable service at all times. ❇Performs guest rooms and public area preventive maintenance as outline by the hotel guidelines. ❇Respond in a courteous and timely manner to all room maintenance calls. ❇Complete maintenance projects timely. ❇Must be proactive in handling problems, anticipating, preventing and solving issues as necessary. ❇Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects. This includes minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky spigots and faucets. Performing miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities. ❇Always maintain a professional appearance. ❇Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications: ❇Building maintenance experience a must. ❇Able to communicate effectively with our guests and colleagues at the hotel. ❇Understand and practice safety guidelines in accordance with Hilton standards. ❇Drivers License
